Hey fellow fall foliage lovers! It’s that time of year, when we can go outside and capture the spectacular colors of autumn leaves.
To get your creative juices flowing, here are some of my favorite fall foliage photos and some quick photo tips!
The early morning and late afternoon light brings out the warm reds, oranges and yellows in leaves – while shadows add a sense of depth and dimension.

It cuts glare from wet leaves and enhances color saturation, making the foliage pop. A polarizing filter is most effective when the sun is off to your left or right.

Capture vibrant colors reflected in lakes, rivers, or even puddles for images that inspire views to reflect on the beauty of nature.

A person, cabin, a winding road (or even an old gas pump) helps show the grandeur of the scene and tells a story.

Focus on details like a single leaf, patterns of fallen leaves, or backlit branches for variety and mood. As always, try to tell the whole story of your outdoor adventure.

Trust your photos and memories to Delkin Devices memory cards, and then download your photos to two secure and different locations (house and office, for example).
