To achieve a successful portrait, you need to create an intimate atmosphere and have a special connection with the person in front of your lens. A photo session is an act of seduction. It is a dance between the photographer and his subject.

Tip #1

Know your equipment. Be prepared. Everything should move seamlessly.

Tip #2

Research your subject and find out what their interests are. When they arrive put them at ease and make them feel comfortable and beautiful.

There is only one star on the set, your subject.  Turn yourself over to the experience and they will too. You will have their confidence 100%. You are creating something wonderful together.
