A quick composition tip: The goal of the camera is to fill the frame, which is exactly what I did while composing this photograph of “The Watchman” in Zion National Park.
A quick tech tip: For maximum depth-of-field, use a wide-angle lens, small aperture and set your focus 1/3 into the scene. Using
that technique, I achieved sharp focus from the near foreground to the distant background.
